Another recommendation from our friend Alexandra K.  "Oh my!  These Pecan Sandies are amazing."  She used our raw halves and roasted them on the stove for her first batch.  She used powdered sugar on top instead of the extra halves (we think she snacked on them too much--and that's okay).  She also made a second batch with our Amanda's Amazing Candied Pecans.  They turned out a touch softer and "a little spicier, but in a good way" (that's the cinnamon).  If you are a traditionalist, use the raw pecan halves, but if you like your sweetness turned to "MAX" then use the candied pecans.
